Dexamethasone Injection is indicated for the treatment of primary bovine ketosis and as an anti-inflammatory agent in cattle and horses. As supportive therapy, dexamethasone may be used in the management of various rheumatic, allergic, dermatologic, and other diseases known to be responsive to anti-inflammatory corticosteroids. Dexamethasone is indicated for the treatment of acute musculoskeletal inflammation in horses. Each ml of Dexamethasone Injection contains 2 mg dexamethasone. Dexamethasone Injection is recommended for IM or IV administration. The usual dosage for cattle is 5-20 mg. The usual dosage for horses is 2-5.5 mg.

Protazil Antiprotozoal Pellets are for the treatment of equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM) caused by Sarcocystis neurona in horses. Protazil Antiprotozoal Pellets contain 1.56% diclazuril to be mixed as a top-dress in feed. Protazil is administered at the rate of 1 mg diclazuril per kg of body weight for 28 days. The quantity of Protazil necessary to deliver this dose is 64 mg pellets per kg of body weight. One 2.4 lb. bucket of Protazil will treat one 1274 lb. horse for 28 days. Diclazuril.

Salix 5% Injection is a diuretic-saluretic for prompt relief of edema in horses, cattle, dogs and cats. Salix 5% Injection contains furosemide. Each ml contains 50 mg furosemide. Salix 5% Injection is administered intramuscularly (IM) or intravenously. The usual dosage of Salix 5% Injection for cattle is 10 ml (500 mg) once daily or 5 ml (250 mg) twice daily at 12 hour intervals. The usual dosage of Salix 5% Injection for horses is 5-10 ml (250-500 mg) once or twice daily at 6 to 8 hour intervals. The usual dosage of Salix 5% Injection for dogs and cats is 1/4 to 1/2 ml per 10 lbs body weight given once or twice daily, permitting a 6 to 8 hour interval between treatments.
