Clemastine is an effective antihistamine. It provides relief from the most common aspects of colds, such as sneezing, congestion, capillary swelling, and watery eyes. It also acts as an antipruritic to help soothe itchy hives and helps with a wide range of allergies, including atopy.
Cyproheptadine HCl
Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride Tablets may be used as an antihistamine. Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride Tablets may have therapeutic benefit in the treatment of various conditions. Cyproheptadine is an antihistamine that may be used to relieve itching caused by allergies. It may also be prescribed as an appetite stimulant. Offers relief from itching associated with allergy related symptoms. Cyproheptadine works by blocking the action of histamine in the body. Histamine is the chemical responsible for many of the symptoms seen when an allergic reaction occurs. Cyproheptadine also has an anti-serotonin property.
Depo-Medrol for Dogs & Horses
Depo-Medrol Injection for Dogs and Horses is used to alleviate pain and lameness associated with osteoarthritis and arthritic conditions in dogs and horses. Depo-Medrol is also beneficial in relieving allergic dermatitis and other allergy related skin conditions in dogs and cats. Each ml of Depo-Medrol contains 20 mg/ml methylprednisolone acetate. Depo-Medrol is given by intramuscular injection. The average dosage for dogs is 20 mg IM, with a range of 2 mg - 40 mg in accordance with the size of dog and severity of condition. The average dosage for cats is 10 mg, with a range up to 20 mg. The usual dosage for horses is 200 mg IM, repeated as necessary. Following intramuscular injection of methylprednisolone acetate, a prolonged systemic effect results.
