Each gram of Uniprim Powder contains 67 mg trimethoprim and 333 mg sulfadiazine. Uniprim is indicated where the control of bacterial infections is required during treatment of acute strangles, respiratory tract infections, acute urogenital infections, wound infections, and abscesses. The recommended dosage of Uniprim Powder is 3.75 grams per 110 lbs. body weight once daily in a small amount of feed. Two level, loose filled 32 cc scoops contain approximately 37.5 grams, which is sufficient to treat 1100 lbs. body weight. The normal course of treatment is a single, daily dose for 5-7 days. The initial recommended dose of Ventipulmin syrup is 0.5 ml per 100 lbs twice daily for 3 days. If no improvement, increase dosage per label instructions, up to 2.0 ml per 100 lbs twice daily.
