Histamine is the chemical responsible for many of the symptoms seen when an allergic reaction occurs. Cyproheptadine also has an anti-serotonin property.

Provides relief from itching associated with allergies, hives, and rashes. Hydroxyzine Pamoate works by blocking the action of histamine in the body. Histamine is the chemical responsible for many of the symptoms seen when an allergic reaction occurs. Hydroxyzine Pamoate also depresses activity of the central nervous system and is also used to treat anxiety disorders and tension in stressful situations.

Directions for Use:
Horses: Administer intramuscularly only at a dose of 0.5 mg per lb. of body weight (2.5 mL for each 100 lbs. of body weight). This dose may be repeated in 6-12 hours if necessary.

Ventipulmin for Horses
Ventipulmin syrup for horses is indicated for the management of animals affected with airway obstruction, such as that which occurs in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each ml of the syrup contains 72.5 mcg clenbuterol HCl. Ventipulmin is administered orally twice per day. The initial recommended dose of Ventipulmin syrup is 0.5 ml per 100 lbs twice daily for 3 days. If no improvement, increase dosage per label instructions, up to 2.0 ml per 100 lbs twice daily. The recommended duration of treatment with clenbuterol for horses at effective dose is 30 days. The effect of Ventipulmin on reproduction in breeding stallions and broodmares has not been determined.
