Protazil Antiprotozoal for Horses
Protazil Antiprotozoal Pellets are for the treatment of equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM) caused by Sarcocystis neurona in horses. Protazil Antiprotozoal Pellets contain 1.56% diclazuril to be mixed as a top-dress in feed. Protazil is administered at the rate of 1 mg diclazuril per kg of body weight for 28 days. The quantity of Protazil necessary to deliver this dose is 64 mg pellets per kg of body weight. One 2.4 lb. bucket of Protazil will treat one 1274 lb. horse for 28 days. Diclazuril.
ProZinc Insulin for Dogs and Cats
ProZinc (protamine zinc recombinant human insulin) is indicated for the reduction of hyperglycemia and hyperglycemia-associated clinical signs in dogs and cats with diabetes mellitus. ProZinc insulin should be mixed gently prior to withdrawing each dose from the vial. The initial recommended ProZinc dose is 0.1 – 0.3 IU insulin per pound of body weight every 12 hours. Injections should be administered SQ on the back of the neck or on the side. The dosage should be given concurrently with, or right after a meal. The safety and effectiveness of ProZinc insulin in kittens, puppies, breeding, pregnant, and lactating cats and dogs has not been evaluated. Protamine zinc recombinant human insulin, 40 IU/ml.

ReBalance Antiprotozoal Oral for Horses
ReBalance Antiprotozoal Oral Suspension is indicated for the treatment of horses with equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM) caused by Sarcocystis neurona. Each ml of ReBalance Antiprotozoal Oral Suspension contains 250 mg sulfadiazine and 12.5 mg pyrimethamine. Give 4 ml per 110 lbs. body weight orally once per day. The usual treatment regimen ranges from 90 to 270 days. Sulfadiazine and Pyrimethamine.

Directions for Use:
Horses: Administer intramuscularly only at a dose of 0.5 mg per lb. of body weight (2.5 mL for each 100 lbs. of body weight). This dose may be repeated in 6-12 hours if necessary.

Regu-Mate (altrenogest) Oral for Horses
Regu-Mate (altrenogest) Oral Solution for Horses is indicated to suppress estrus in mares. Suppression of estrus allows for a predictable occurrence of estrus following drug withdrawal. Each ml of Regu-Mate Solution contains 2.2 mg altrenogest oral progestin. The recommended dosage of Regu-Mate is 1 ml per 110 lbs body weight given once daily for 15 consecutive days. Regu-Mate is for administration orally on back of mare’s tongue or applied to usual grain ration.
